“You and me, babe; how about it”
I had Dire Straits’ Romeo & Juliet as my phone ringtone for the longest time. I think I was clued in to Dire Straits by a passage in a Douglas Adams book (“they kissed just as the song got to the part in which, if you know it, it was impossible not to do this”). We joke about Mark Knopfler’s monotone singing a lot but I think his super unemotional delivery actually makes the lyrics resonate more for me. Y says the way he sings the ending ‘You and me, babe; how about it’ is completely neutral and open-ended; only the slightly optimistic guitar riff ends it on a note of hope as the song fades out and you both wait for Juliet’s answer..

Fuwa Kotarou, the fluffiest kirin in all the kingdoms. Originally the kirin of Hojo Ujimasa but somehow on loan to Matsunaga Hisahide whose own kirin Hiragumo-chan turned out to be not a kirin at all but a teakettle
Edit: Sorry guys I will draw actual Juuni Kokki fanarts after this (instead of further desecrating memories of the Sengoku period)

Let’s go to the Kaiyukan! (There really was an ojisan storyteller outside the aquarium when I went, but he wasn’t a traditional rakugo. But I feel Hojo would be :’))
IRL i am terrified of small children, however thanks to SB3 I have discovered they are so much fun to draw.
