The most important of those might be Hugo Pratt(aside from Hergé, maybe), which is why I am so excited that his first Corto Maltese book, The Ballad of the Salt Sea, is FINALLY once again going to be published in English. Corto Maltese is one of the greatest comics ever made, written and illustrated by a true master of the form. The Ballad of the Salt Sea will be released on March 13, 2012 from Universe Books, and I want to get as much buzz going as possible about this. Tell your friends.
